Welcome to The Consummate Athletes Newest Training Cycle!
This is essentially an experimental cycle I am going to do that involves a barbell set, a single pair of kettlebells and your body. We are keeping things simple, but its going to be straightforward and harsh. Essentially our daily training will consist of a barbell lift in either a dynamic or max effort fashion to increase our absolute strength and power. Then we will use kettlebells and our bodyweight to train power endurance and relative strength and stamina. Olympic lifting, powerlifting, kettlebells and gymnastics. We only require one pair of bells for this cycle, and when they get easy, you will be doing a lot of reps. Yes, a lot. Be prepared for lots of progressive bodyweight movements, high intensity barbell training, and disgusting lactic acid threshold training with the kettlebells to torture your ego.
