I will be using a new format to help you stay streamlined with your workouts. You will be able to plan better and have a better guide for the training for the week and month, instead of looking for a daily workout, you will have a plan for the whole phase. We will work in waves, sometimes short 3 week phases, sometimes a little longer. Any questions and comments, please post in the forum. This phase is borrowed from the USA Weightlifting Development Center and has been used by many coaches and olympic caliber athletes to develop strength endurance during a short high intensity training phase. This is a basic and very well balanced program. Please make any necessary adjustments regarding equipment, sets and reps accordingly. For example, you may sub HSPU for push press if desired, or sandbag clean or stone shouldering for muscle pulls, etc. DO NOT get caught up in the mundane details of accessory exercises like tricep and ab work, but please feel free to share what you are doing in the forum, this is where you can have fun and get creative, but do not stress it. This may be way too much volume for some trainees. This is nothing new, we do not always have to try to reinvent the wheel. Put in the hard work and reap the rewards of your efforts. Let's go!
