Today was rough. Felt nasty in my gut and the humidity was sickening. Oh well, suck it up, buttercup. We kept it short and sweet today. 15 minutes of mobility, then some Hack squats followed by Hills and RDLs. The hills blow me up and its the closest thing i can come to hill sprints inside the gym without a PROWLER. I use the bands for balance and i actually think it helps me generate more power by focusing on getting up and down instead of regrouping every rep on the floor. Give it a shot and see how you feel. Always watch your feet on this one for safety. I've seen people miss the box when switching feet and almost blow out a knee. If you can't do these just do simple step ups, but this is a more dynamic variation that i like a lot. |
